Girls' Fun - Second Summary

Regular readers will know I've been transcribing edited highlights of a diary I kept when I was 15 / 16 years old, in 1985. I’m about to post the latest entry, but before I do I thought I’d better do a quick summary for newcomers and those who who have lost track.
In 1984 I was 14. I grew large breasts, joined a Youth Theatre and discovered I was capable of being something other than a frumpy swot. I had my first kiss and my first boyfriend.
By December 27th 1984, which is when this diary started, I was 15 and on to my second boyfriend. Well, sort of. Matthew got a little over-enthusiastic in the canoodling department and we ignored each other for a few weeks. Then we got together again. Then we split up again. Then he started seeing one of my best friends.
Meanwhile I sat mock ‘O’-levels (British school exams which I mostly failed to revise for), briefly went out with a boy called Stephen and continued to pine after Philip - sadly only a friend - that I’d been secretly in love with for the previous two years.
You join me now on the day of the Youth Theatre Yorkshire party. I’d been looking forward to, and fretting over, this do for weeks. Philip was going to be there. A mutual friend had told him I fancied him. I was considering - finally - asking him out.
The most recent entry is here.
Oh, and here are the requested pictures of Philip. Even though our relationship changed considerably in the years after 1985, I look at them now and - particularly having relived these diary entries - still get a little skip in my heart.

I like him in that hat - I can see why you chased him.
"He left (after having got me, slave, to put his bike chain back on)"
Dear me - that had my shoulders shaking that one. The bizarre combination of semi-nudity, the light going on and then off, and then him getting you to fix your bike chain :)
Loved it!
Haha looby yes, I know - tis all very funny. That's one of my favourite entries.
Joe, he's rather gorgeous, isn't he?
