I was driving into work this morning through Wythenshawe, and there was someone sitting on a fence by the road with a home made sandwich board attached to their torso, front and back.
All it said was "sabirock.co.uk". It was 7.45am. They looked cold.
I didn't get a chance to look at them properly - it was a fast road and they were well wrapped up - and I thought it was a woman, but looking at the website it looks more like a man (and a rather cute one - well all right then, he has cute hair and shoulders; you can't see much else). Anyway, I like the front page of his website. Sadly I can't get the "listen" bit to work on my computer.
But I think Mr Sabirock earnt himself a bit of publicity for sitting on a fence in Wythenshawe in the cold and dark with make-shift boards strapped to himself. If anyone manages to listen, please do tell me if he's any good.

Hey I've seen this man several times and only managed to get the address the other day - he seems to walk down Alan Turing Way alot, away from Oldham Road towards Grey Mare Lane. I wonder how he gets to the other start of his wander seeing as I've never sen him head in that direction... Music seems quite cool, a bit sort of guitar-funky, but my speakers aren't so good.
Hmm could this be the start of a new craze?

Yeah I've seen this guy. Saw him near manchester eye hospital today sitting on a fence!! Wrote down the website and checked it out. The usic seems pretty funky like someone's alreadys said, but like his advertising, the production is pretty low budget. The music seems cool though, as does he :P
I've spoken to the sabirock guy, he likes keeping the myster and his hat, which I think he made, is really damn cool and he knows the whole thing is getting him a lot of attention. It's funny when I past him once he made a big smile! He must do that to everyone, made me laugh. I love the music too. Needs to be better quality but he has prospects and deserves a record deal for the sheer determination he's showing.
